Solutions 4 Health is an innovative healthcare and technology company which delivers public health services such as smoking cessation, healthy eating programmes and falls prevention services. They currently provide over 20 services to over 100,000 members of the public annually and employ over 300 healthcare staff.
mmd has worked with Solutions4health for over 10 years, delivering over 20 websites and providing highly responsive support and maintenance services.
Our work has included developing individual websites for smoking cessation in over 10 local authority areas, websites for promoting healthy eating and helping prevent falls in the older population. Technologies used have included ASP.NET, SQL Server and WordPress and the challenges have included complex forms integration, handling of confidential client data, Google maps API integration and creation of a document management system for a local authority.
In all cases an important requirement has been the ability to present information clearly and simply to a population of all education levels and with a variety of spoken languages. Ease of use for S4H staff is always important which is why WordPress is our first choice of CMS for those websites where regular content will be published.
